A Journey of the Spirit

Spirituality is an important part of my life. Although I don’t have a daily routine or vast practice, it profoundly influences how I navigate life. Authenticity, compassion, manifestation and mindfulness are values deeply woven into me and, as a result, into the fabric of my business. Meditation, a love for crystals, new age music, spiritual conversations and gatherings, moments of quiet reflection (especially at home, in nature and in the plane) and from time-to-time, yin yoga and kundalini yoga are my spiritual activities that keep me grounded.

Wanderlust Adventures

Traveling is one of my greatest passions and a way to connect with myself and others. Every journey, whether it is studying abroad, working and living in a new country, a zen trip to Bali, a cultural city trip to London or wandering the streets of New York, Lisbon, or Singapore, brings new perspectives and ideas. These adventures are not just about seeing new places but about immersing myself in different cultures and learning from them. The experiences I gain from my travels and living in different places inspire the identity of my brand and the creativity in my business, bringing a touch of the world to everything I do.

Culinary Passions

Food is another love of mine. I believe that sharing a meal is one of the most profound ways to connect with people and cultures. I’ll never forget how Oprah turned to me and said “what is the purpose of eating guacamole and not sharing it?”. I totally agree with her — I love to share food while having a good conversation. Although I am not a day-to-day chef, but when having people over, or better yet, when I create the circumstances, I love to experiment with new recipes. On the other hand, I am always eager to savour delicious dishes, especially when abroad. My culinary adventures are a source of joy and creativity. This passion for food and entertainment translates into the brand’s vision that every moment needs to be celebrated with love and intention. It reflects our dedication to quality, innovation, and the joy of sharing delightful experiences.

Creativity is at the heart of who I am. Whether it’s writing, styling, or designing, I find joy in creating and expressing myself. From a young age, I started a magazine Tropical Girls, served as editor-in-chief for various types of magazines, painted, organized events and styled people’s spaces. This creative spirit is one of the reasons that I started Cu Carinyo. It drives the brand’s unique aesthetic and innovative approach. Every project is approached with creativity and reflects the values of peace of mind, zen, harmony, and a touch of style, ensuring that clients have a lasting experience.

Embracing Balance with Carinyo

Having a traditional work/life balance is not my asset and may remain a challenge in others’ eye. However, my blessing is that I love what I do, and I mix work and life where possible. I approach what I do with as much love as I encourage myself to practice self-love. I value relaxation, massages and spending time with others. I am known for being around family and friends. This gives me energy and a sense of fulfilment, fuelling passion and productivity. This philosophy of balance is reflected in the brand’s commitment to promoting clarity, feeling lighter, having a organized spaced, and ultimate peace of mind. It’s a lifestyle where we can all thrive, both the customers as professionals I work with.
